Never saw a human before?

I hate it so much, those eyes staring at the foreigner.
I live in a country that is not my homeland, a third world country, sometimes called a developing country. I chose this place largely because my adopted son is from this country although he is now a US citizen and lives in the USA.
In my country, we seldom stare at someone who is of a different race. We accept them for who they are, not what they look like. Not so here in this Asian country. Middle aged people do not stare so much unless they are semi-literate mountain people. It is the kids and senior citizens who seem to think that they are in a museum and that I am a display of "whiteface people of the world".
I have toyed with the idea of having a tee shirt printed with the slogan, "You have never seen a human before?" It would be similar to this one.
This subject reminds me of a song I heard many years ago. It is called "Looking back to see". The words are:
I was looking back to see
if you were looking back to see
if you were looking back at me.
And when I looked back to see
if you were looking back to see
if I was looking back to see,
I saw you looking back at me.
Don't Stare---It ain't perlite.
