That’s a pet peeve of mine.
You’re so lucky you are in good shape.
Ok, I am fortunate to have good genetics, but it’s not LUCK that gets my ass out the door everyday to run.
You’re so lucky you have a good job.
Again, I am thankful my genes gave me something to work with.. but then again I did go to college to do this… It wasn’t LUCK that got me to class, finished my homework or got my degree. In fact I worked my way through school. I am lucky to live in a country where that’s possible, but it’s not luck that I did it.
You are so lucky your divorce was so easy.
Ok, these people really don’t know me that well, or at least for not very long. It actually makes me laugh when I hear this. I guess I make things look easy.
