A jackalope
Where are we? What road are we traveling on? I will give you a few clues before telling you.
This one will not help you, I am sure. However, my wife and I took our honeymoon in Phoenix, Arizona, in 1966. We took this highway for part of the trip from Illinois westward. I remember that I bought gasoline for the car for 25 cents a gallon. WOW! Things are surely different now.
Anyhow, back to our question, which highway has the jackalope as its mascot? Let me know if you see one so I can send the men in white coats to bring you into the psych ward.
A sight to be seen is Cadillac Ranch. It was built in 1974 and made up of ten Cadillac models dating from 1948 to 1964. Location=Amarillo.
The road crosses what is claimed to be the hottest location in the USA, Needles, California.
The road's length is 2448 miles and goes through eight US states. It spends the least distance in Kansas.
You may be able to get your Kix on this road, but for sure, you should get your kicks there.
