Old Kentucky Home or New?

Do you remember Stephen Foster's song about "My Old Kentucky Home"?
I have found Kentucky to be a beautiful state. (My home state is Indiana, just north of Kentucky.) I even have a teacher's license from Kentucky to teach French and ESL. I never have actually lived in Kentucky, however, at least , not yet.
I have dreamed of having a home around Lexington; that's horse country. You remember my blog of August 5, 2008, where I talked about horses?? (Look at it.) However, an 'old' Kentucky home does not appeal to me as much as a very up-to-date home. I would want a modern kitchen and two bathrooms. Three bedrooms would be ideal for my situation.
You know, I found one that looks something like an 'old Kentucky home' with a comfortable price tag. It is the Bristol and is in Lexington's horse country. I found it on the Lexington Real Estate web site. There are lots of other great house styles listed there, but the Bristol took my eye.
Take a look at the Bristol and let me know your thoughts, please.
