I live in one of the Asian countries now. I am American but am semi-retired here and would not want to return to live in the USA. Prices are lower here; the people in this country at least try to speak English, some being successful and others have problems with the language. I have a choice of living a rural life or a city life. I have cheap land on which I want to build a house later. That house is in a more farming area since I like farming a lot. I am presently renting a cheap five room place in the city. The rental cost is around the equivalent of $140 per month. This is life. I have all the tropical fruit I want at a fraction of the cost in the USA. I have no heating bills. My electric bill is around $25 monthly.

I have lived in three Asian countries now. Those are South Korea, Thailand and the Philippines. This is the life for me. I can live my Christian life and influence people and have cheap luxury.
